The school year began with a four day camping trip to Kalkaska, MI - the first stop was the Shettler Diary Farm 8/25/08 .

Project 2000 began as a three-year pilot program for eighth grade students in the Birmingham, Michigan school district. These students, simply were not doing well in the regular classroom environment. There are currently fourteen students enrolled in the tenth year of this program.
